BUMMER.  We have reached our limit and closed registration.  If you were not able to register please check out the Donald Dash below and get out in the next week or so to run at the Mound. There is a riot breaking out on the Overlode trail with the trillium, bellwort and very soon, shooting stars blooming. This is a special time at the park and one of these years we are going to hold the run in early May.  Thanks for your support of the Park.

  The Blue Mound is as good as it gets for trail running in the Midwest.  The  long event is a significant accomplishment with singletrack sections, switchback climbs and quad quivering descents.  The shorter run will also get you to the top of the Mound with a sampling of many of the same trail running challenges.  The distances will be close to the 18K and 9K of last year pending  new ideas to keep things interesting. As always, your efforts will be rewarded with wholesome food and drink at the finish.

  The run is a fund-raiser for The Friends of Blue Mound State Park.
